Meet Jonathon
Jonathon was born and raised in Berrien County. He spent his formative years spending time with his grandparents, on their Centennial farm, helping with gardening tasks, home and landscape maintenance.
Wells relocated to Chicago in 1990, after graduating from Western Michigan University with a B.S. in Art. He returned to SWMI late January of 2018, to resume residency in Benton Charter Township.
His decorating practice in Michigan, Chicago and around the country has led him to a point where the values of smaller town living resonate within him more clearly. He is a both a current and past member of numbered non-profit and charitable organizations, both in Chicago and SWMI.
Racial diversity, social and economic equality, LGBTQ+ issues, economic development and growth, and basic human rights are issues for which he continues to champion.
